Most of the chassis complete..

Most of the chassis mounted components are now in place. Just got the input jacks and then the turret board can go in. Next stage is to check all the connections so far before getting the board in place. Here are some pics of the work so far:

Turret Board

Just an update on progress so far.Turret board is populated and wired up ready to go into the chassis. Just needs to be checked, double checked and then checked again just to make sure! The turret board came from Ampmaker as did the turrets. Excellent service as ever from Chris at Ampmaker. The board is this one, a good solid type similar to boards made in the 60s.

This is the first post on my new blog detailing the build of a JTM45 clone based on the Metroamp kit. I started the project in January 2015 and expect it to take about 4 months as I work at it on and off. More info will follow soon. In the meantime here are some pics:
